I must have been tempting providence when I wrote in the September Newsletter last year, “Heat and humidity did slow the pace of some of our walks and occasionally took its toll on individuals. It was a salutary reminder of some golden rules: Carry sufficient water; Take a small snack to keep up the energy levels and don’t be embarrassed to miss out the afternoon session on a figure of 8 walk if you are feeling drained”.See full story...

This event had to be cancelled because of poor weather in Sept 2018 but has now been rescheduled for Sunday 8 September. We will meet at the canal basin (directions on separate sheet) at 10 am for a very pleasant 4.8 mile walk with views (there is a hill) and along the canal.See full story...
