So far there are 16 people who are joining the walk in Otterton, Devon. It’s not too late to add your name, although we are arranging transport amongst ourselves rather than hiring minibus, coach etc. We will meet at Otterton – the Kings Arms, park in the road or pub car park, at 10 am for coffee at Otterton Mill before we set off (or tell us that you are already at the mill!). We will set off on the popular path along the River Otter to its mouth – a haven for thousands of birds. We then take a really scenic walk along the top of the cliffs on the SW Coast Path towards Sidmouth and cut back into Otterton. It’s a 5.7 mile circular walk, not too strenuous! Lunch will be at the Kings Arms in Otterton. If non walkers would like to come, they can stay by the River Otter (plenty of benches) or visit Bicton Gardens which is very close. Visiting the mill after lunch is recommended, or Bicton Gardens or Budleigh Salterton. Jenny will contact everyone nearer the time with menu, final details. If you are interested in coming and have not yet told Jenny, please contact her asap.
