The proposed date for first section is 23 –26 May 2018
The Coleridge Way is 51 miles through the stunning Somerset countryside of the Quantock Hills, the Brendon Hills and Exmoor, a landscape that inspired Coleridge to produce some of his best known work. More details are available on this link http://www.visit-exmoor.co.uk/coleridge-way/coleridge-way-home-page . We would start at Nether Stowey and finish at Lynmouth. Our current thinking is, rather than do it in one long week – i.e. continuous daily walking – that we divide it into two lots of three days, staying overnight together at a B&B approx one third then two thirds of the way. Our planned meeting did not happen but we have come up with a date in May, 23 – 26th for the first section. When this has all been firmed up more information will be circulated and it is possible that shorter and less strenuous option walks can be offered at the same time as the more challenging ones. If you think you would like to join us on the walk and have not notified Jenny N already, please do so.
